WINE 101: The Spring Whites

Limited Class Size: 20 participants per class

Matt Preston, State Wine Manager with Ernest & Julio Gallo will present Spring Whites for The Kentucky Wine & Vine Festival.  These classes will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 2:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon adjacent to the Kentucky and International Wine Tent. For that hands-on experience the classes will be limited to 20 participants.

Matt Preston will be explaining 6 White Wines for your tasting pleasure.  These wines include Bridlewood Viognier, Maso Canali Pinot Grigio, Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, Ghost Pines Chardonnay, William Hill Chardonnay and Louis Martini Chardonnay. 

This will be a course in which Matt will discuss each grape, tasting order, region & other facts about wines.  Euro Wine Bar will provide their scrumptious food which will pair with each wine.
