Kentucky Monthly’s Stephen M. Vest will sign his new book “That Kind of Journalist.” Noon to 3 p.m. at the Kentucky Montly Table.

Before founding Kentucky Monthly a decade ago, Stephen M. Vest was an award winning newspaper columnist and sprotswriter. Kentucky Monthly, of which he serves as editor and publisher, has also garnered its share of awards and in 2005 was feted with the Governors Award in the Arts. His previous book, Briar Bits, spent an impressive week on the Lexington Herald-Leader bestseller list. Vest and his wife Kay live in Frankfort, Kentucky with their four children. When not writing , he can be found walkin the streets of the Capital city Looking for change and inspiration.
